#TuneTuesday#WaitingForGodot
Songs that feel like they’re building to a climax that they never reach.
This one’s more about the video than the song itself, but Ren (yes, more Ren, always more Ren) is a master of bringing his audience to the edge of their seats and leaving them on that moment of tension.
CW on the video for a simulated hostage situation, implied torture, implied self-harm/suicide. There’s nothing super graphic, but viewer discretion is advised.
So todays #tunetuesday theme about #waitingforgodot is regarding themes where you’re kept waiting for the next part of the song that doesn’t actually happen?
Well, then this classic #SuperMario64 remix would be my pick. It somehow manages to miss the entire second half of the Bowser’s Road song, and started a trend of other remixes doing the same thing:
@Kitty 's Sortomatic Mk666 has given us a tricky one this week , @derthomas 's theme for #TuneTuesday is #WaitingForGodot a song with a climax that never arrives.
Radiohead actually put a clue in the title of this one. This song seems to be building up to something, more instruments come in , the tempo picks up then....

Still a great song though.
In preparation to make Godot News videos on YouTube, I'm constructing some lists here on the Fediverse. I have two main lists:
Godot Developers
Godot Community
I'm trying to find people who work closely with the actual project for "Developers" (whether or not they are actively contributing code)
For "Community" I'm trying to find people working on popular projects.
I'm expected to steal an idea from StayAtHomeDev's website and set up a submission form so anyone from the community can submit their project for a spotlight segment.
I'm thinking I want to try to include all "levels" of Godot News in my segments. That is, updates and improvements to the engine, popular 3rd party tools like Godot Rust and Dialogic for example. And also submitted projects from developers of any (current) popularity.
If you would like to be added to any of these lists feel free to respond here or DM me. Otherwise I'll just see who I can find. I hope I can provide a meaningful service to the larger Godot Community! Y'all are pretty awesome!
