What is on your agenda for the day and for the weekend ahead?
For me, the wife and I are going to a special Winston Salem Dash baseball game tonight. It's our first one. They are the A team for the Chicago White Sox. Hoping to have a great time tonight.
Not much else planned outside of work stuff for a bit today and the weekend we don't have anything planned as of yet.
I've often thought about starting up a Mastodon instance for the Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, NC area.
Not sure what exactly I'd name it/call it
Since I co-admin this instance, I would want it to to be hosted similarly as this one with MastoHost but would love to find someone reliable that could moderate and help run it if necessary.
Just curious if there would be much interest in an instance like that.

As you see here, it's 15F/-9C currently here in Winston Salem, NC.
The wife is staying inside all bundled up. I was outside for a bit earlier as I went for a short walk to enjoy the cold. It's not too windy outside so that makes a difference.
I absolutely love the cold weather and the colder, the better!
The last few days it's been in the lower to mid 80's so it's nice to get back to this cold weather. That low of 27F tomorrow night is something I can't wait for!
The wife and I went to the Carolina Classic Fair here in Winston Salem, NC again yesterday.

2: Chips with gyro meat, cheese sauce, feta cheese and sour cream
3: Roasted street corn with a hot sauce
4: Frychos from Food Freaks with meat, cheese, bacon jam, cilantro and other things
What's the weather like in your part of the world today?
For us here in Winston Salem, NC, it's a nice and cool 59F currently. The high is supposed to only get up to 67F. It's going to be rainy most of the day which is ok with me as I'll be staying inside.
The wife and I spent 10 minutes picking green beans this morning. This is one of two filled bags that we got in that short amount of time.
We have tons more that still need to be picked, and even more that aren't quite ready yet.
It's nice having a little garden in the back yard!

For me, the wife and I have VIP tickets to Taco Festival 2023 here in Winston Salem that starts at 11am and goes until 5pm. Super excited to be going and to see how it is.
After that, it'll just be an afternoon/evening of relaxing and likely catching up on some shows.

Lots of good things will be there, and if you get VPI passes, you get a free t-shirt, vouchers for two large, free margaritas and you get in an hour earlier than general admission folks.

Here in Winston Salem, NC, it's going to be a decently hot day as you can see. We'll get up to about 82F, which for me is about 40 degrees way too hot!
