Bandcamp Friday ends in 8 hours... so I dropped the price on the latest album to $3.33... If you like moody old video game music with a DOS/SNES/NES flavor... I think you might like it.
There was a lot of great music in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, but one of the highlights for me was Anamanaguchi's stellar chiptune-inspired take on "God Only Knows."
So a few weeks-to-months ago I was having one of Those #Retrocomputing Days where literally nothing worked. I tried to use 3-4 different systems in a row, because I just wanted to use something, I didn't want to fix something, and none of them would even boot, much less run.
One of those systems was a #PowerMac#G3 (blue and white) that appeared to be powering up and doing something, playing the boot bong and drive light flickering, but I couldn't get a display. I opened it up and checked some things, no luck.
Well, about two weeks ago I was preparing to give a talk on #ChipTunes to the local #Hackathon and I noticed that the KVM it was plugged into had some loose cables. For Reasons, it has a particularly fat VGA cable, and it was loose.
I don't market my music much... I hope people enjoy it and want people to listen, but marketing always feels weird... I'll get better one day, maybe...
However, I haven't released anything in a while, but the bandcamp income keeps going up... I coul just focus on music and games if it keeps up... I'm also getting onto other platforms and itch. Anyway, I'm lowering the "digital discography" price to say, "thanks!"
