My storytelling style is very cinematic, so #continuity is pretty important to me. I also don't like characters pulling stuff out from nowhere and such things. As a reader, I'm fine with it as long as it fits the genre.
I might do a short write up over the weekend, but my initial takeaway is that the Standby thing on iOS 17 is my favourite new feature during a pretty sparse year.
