I sent in an objection stating that using data for training AI doesn't fall within the remit of what a user might reasonably expect the company to do with my data on the basis of the service being provided: https://www.gdpreu.org/the-regulation/key-concepts/legitimate-interest/ They have upheld my objection and will not use my data. So you can do it too!
