If you are connected to firewalled wifi and attempt to post in the Mastodon app you do not get an error. Your post is eaten. Deleted forever.
I wrote this amazing post and it’s gone. This has happened before. Other apps say “cannot post” when firewalled. Seems like bug.
(please don’t tell me to use a different app I have four apps each with their own issues- the purpose of this post is to check if it’s fair to call it a bug)
If #google is gonna spy on us so hard at least there ought to be a way to display browser history in google #calendar. (I don’t use google for #search atm but such a feature could tempt me back)
Much easier to find a web page again using the calendar…
(I also have a concept for displaying #socialmedia in the calendar— to see how conversations develop from a different angle.)
@werefreeatlast As long as we are spitballing features for apps: what about an option in the mastodon mobile apps that you could switch on and it would suggest words to be festoon’d with #hashtags ? #mastodonSuggestions (and also fix tags to be screen reader friendly)
