Round Tower ||
This is the translation for Rundetårn : it's a tower in the city of #copenhagen that you climb to the top.
The interesting thing is that there no starway, but a "spiral ramp".
This #analogphotography was taken on the top of the #tower. #Film was a #lomochromemetropolis with a #Bessaflex TM. Lens was a #takumar 50mm f1.4. Exposure parameters was f2.8 at 1/30.
Over the Labor Day weekend My wife and I visited our favorite camping getaway - Beaver Island Retreat located on Beaver Island in Lake Michigan. I took over 1500 photos and I'll be processing them for ages 😄.
To be fair, many of them are variations and will be deleted...but I'll probably still have a few hundred left over.
Taking up photography a few years ago really opened my eyes to the beauty around me. For example, I went from not paying attention to sunrises to being mesmerized by them!
These utility towers are located in Lafayette Indiana. I took the photos last weekend (between rainstorms) from Tapawingo Park across the Wabash River in West Lafayette, Indiana.
On my recent visit to Casey, IL I came across a lot where several old trucks were parked. Yea!
I used my Pentax Super-Takumar 50mm F1.4 lens to take these photos. It is very soft when wide open and adds a little yellow due to the very slightly radioactive thorium in the glass. Works great when going for that vintage look!
Last month I tagged along on a hunt to identify vernal pools. Vernal pools are seasonal wetlands covered by shallow water for variable periods from winter to spring. They may be completely dry during the summer and fall.
These photos were shot with my old Pentax Super-Takumar 300mm F4 lens manufactured between 1965 and 71. It's a beast, but I occasionally manage to get some good shots with it.
Yesterday Jewels and I hiked a fun trail at Avalanche Preserve in Boyne City, Michigan. This photo was taken at a relatively flat section, but there were lots of elevation changes with an overlook at the top.
