I've been thinking a lot about #TheDarkEye / #DSA lately. Why do you think it's still so unknown in English speaking circles?

Considering games like Runequest, WFRP, Dungeon World, 13th Age, etc #DnD dominance is not explanation enough. Why do you think it's so obscure?

1. The first one I ever played, Hm let's see...

Oh, that would have been #DasSchwarzeAuge / #TheDarkEye back in 1998/99 or so.
3rd edition I believe. One of the solo Adventures that came with the Starter Box.

The first one with an GM would have been #cyberpunk2020 somewhen around 2001 I guess.

2. The first one I ever have been GM'ing was #DasSchwarzeAuge / #TheDarkEye the group Adventure that came with the Starter Box back in 1999

Flying Buffalo's entire catalog changing hands a second time after Rick Loomis's death... makes me nervous.

I dunno, the more times something like Tunnels and Trolls gets bought and sold, the more likely it is likely to loose it's reason d'etre.

I dunno, probably shouldn't talk too much about it. It's been ages since I cracked open Tunnels and Trolls and never got around to buying their last edition/revision in dead tree format. #ttrpg
