So, he's a righty (a need for us). And The Athletic says that he's a good 5v5 player at both ends of the ice. So, seems like another savvy pickup by Cheveldayoff?
After several years, I just finished rewatching "Searching for Sugar Man". 10/10 - just an absolutely amazing story. Hairs standing up on the back of my neck, tears streaming down my face.
It's a documentary about a musician - that's all I'll say, for those that haven't seen it. It's too good a story to ruin.
In Canada, it's free to watch on Amazon Prime. I can guarantee you won't regret watching it, especially you @JeffDanielswpg.
For some reason, I actually remember how I found out about the movie - Peter Mansbridge posted on Twitter how much he enjoyed it, probably shortly after it came out. Those were the good old days, when the dirty bird wasn't an extreme cesspool. Sigh...
@NunavutBirder It's been a long time since I was that disappointed in a movie. I came out of the movie theatre and my friend and I both looked at each other and said "What the heck was that?" It seemed like a ton of stuff must have been edited out for length, resulting in several incoherent scenes.
Dear internet, yes we all know Nevalny was murdered, yes we all know Putin was responsible, yes we all know it was politically motivated.
I get the outrage, I just don't get people treating it like it was a big mystery they just solved all on their own.
@mike I 100% agree. I'm very interested in the story and as outraged as the next person, but there is no mystery here. I added a one-week filter for this yesterday.
I've let my feed get a bit away from me, and I need to do some curation to allow me to see the stuff I'm more interested (or perhaps far less of the topics that I see as repetitious without novel or new information).
I don't mind ads to support good content, but there is a breaking point where I just hit the X at the top right to escape the screen explosions all over.
It's been a long time since I considered myself a Mark Scheifele fan. Between his lack of defensive "desire" and doubling-down after wiping out the Canadiens player in the playoffs, he's completely turned me off.
However, that play in the crease is a good start to changing my opinion of him. Or perhaps it's simply evidence that he's finally maturing into a more complete and intelligent player.
I'm not sure if John Garett is watching the same game when he says the Pens were the better team after the first. The Jets had way more chances and killed three penalties. #HNOM#NHLJets
Step1: Offer everyone in Israel/Palestine citizenship anywhere they want to go. All countries must comply. But you can't stay in Israel/Palestine.
Step2: Once empty, Invite the Disney corporation to turn the entire area into a resort/theme park. The only permanent residents allowed are park employees.
Your welcome. Please let me know if you want any other global problems solved.
BREAKING: The Winnipeg Jets have acquired Sean Monahan from the Montreal Canadians. Montreal will receive a first-round pick in 2024 and a conditional third-round pick in 2027. #NHLJets#NHLCanadians#HNOM :Jets: :Habs:
Intermission panels are almost universally terrible, regardless of sport or network. But this SportsNet panel is the worst of the worst. I think I'd rather watch non-stop Save-On-Foods commercials than these guys. Capital-A awful.
