@mike My real answer is "both". A cheap pair to leave in the car - I leave the doors unlocked and OK with someone stealing them.

And then a better pair to use in other situations.

@mike I used to go cheap, then got a nice pair of Oakleys. The comfort is soo much better and I don't lose sunglasses; my fat head just broke the cheap ones once or twice a year.

@mike I missed the vote but would have been on the ‘good’ team for the same reason as others.
I get prescription sunglasses instead of clip-ons and with the last ones actually went for progressives so I can read the dash panel. I’ve thought of a cheap pair of clip-ons to leave in the vehicle on those occasions where I leave home without the good ones but haven’t gotten further than thinking about it.
