Hey everyone, by some stroke of luck the Spotpass servers for the Wii U and 3DS were not yet shutdown so it is still possible to obtain and submit archives.
If you have a Wii U or 3DS I highly encourage you to follow the guide on this site to submit dumps.
Even if you don't please spread the word so we can get as many dumps as possible and save as much content as we can (boosts are very helpful and much appreciated).
Hey everyone just FYI you can post to Kbin and Lemmy from Mastodon and other Fediverse Micro-blogging platforms by having one line of your post at the top be the title and putting a mention to the specific community's handle in your post, works best if the mention is below the title. Also you can even attach images and they will appear in the post as an image (multiple images don't work as well sadly).
You can find communities to post in on lemmyverse.net/communities
Here's an example of the format that works best, even for non-glitch instances:
<br></br>[Post title text]<br></br><br></br>*(separate title and body with blank space)<br></br><br></br>[Post body text]<br></br><br></br>[Community's handle mention]<br></br><br></br>
I can upload any other type of image but gifs always fail for some reason.
Does anyone have any clue what could be going wrong? There's obviously something wrong with pictrs but I'm not sure what.
@db0@WeirdGoesPro would probably require modifying Lemmy to be able to do it unfortunately, and that's hard because of the Lemmy Devs' weird insistence on using rust.
I recently attempted to follow communties on this instance from mastodon and they all say pending. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it possibly related to the federation problems of 0.19?
I made a github issue but I'm not sure if the Devs will help or not since on one hand it's not their software but on the other hand it seems like a federation issue. 🤷
@lemann I wonder if it might also be affecting Kbin users too. I'm not sure though since I ditched Kbin a long time ago (there were lots of bugs and shitty people on there).

Looks like. On the DB it says pending is false
Now that lemmy allows you to export your data, there’s no reason to pre-empt it imho. If anything bad happens, take your data and move to a new instance.
@TRBG@furry_irl Not entirely sure, it could be 3D or it could just be shading. The artist didn't say on the original Reddit post (seems to be the original post).
