@paninid. agree on the air quotes because many of the biggest advances in "capitalist" societies were publicly funded, which is socialism. Without that public funding and legal controls on capitalist exploitative practices we wouldn't have got this far. I think the real debate is where the needle should sit between capitalism and socialism
