I had a Star Trek costume as a kid as well! This would have been a couple years after Enterprise ended, so the middle of the Star Trek drought. Only one person recognized it, but I thought it was awesome. My mom and I made a whole Borg suit, with all kinds of weird tech things from the early 2000s. The best parts were the left hand, which was a glove that played drum sounds when you tapped the fingers, and was all silver plastic and wires, and a mechanical head massager for the head piece, also silver plastic, that we connected to the body with vinyl tubing
That’s incredible. It also reminds me of the episode of Star Trek Deep Space 9 where they need to find space to store a bunch of people’s transporter patterns, so they just dump them into the stations computer, replacing everything that used to be there lol
