NATO has reportedly identified two red lines that could prompt the Alliance's direct intervention in the war in Ukraine. These red lines are not operational plans but rather assessments of potential scenarios. The first red line involves the possibility of a third party's direct or indirect involvement in northwestern Ukraine, potentially creating a corridor between Ukraine and Belarus. The second red line is when Russia attacks the Baltic States, Poland, or Moldova

The Baltic States and Poland are NATO-members, Moldova is not, just like Ukraine.
NATO won't intervene when Russia captures Moldova, in fact: Russia has already taken a substantial part of that country (Transnistria). Just like when Russia took parts of the Donbass and Crimea, the West did nothing at all.

Times are different indeed: for sure NATO is more alert right now, but still we give Putin a lot of space to pursue his Great-Russia ideal: Ukraine hardly gets what it needs to defeat the invading Russian army: no Taurus, just a few Patriot systems.
F16's are coming, but nobody talks about the far more effective F35's that would enable UAF to succesfully fight off the Russian army

🇪🇺 That is why it is important that Ukraine wins the war that the Russian Federation unleashed, so Prague will support Kyiv as long as necessary. He emphasized that it is in the interests of Europe that Ukraine be able to defend itself from Russian aggression and regain all its territories.

Completely useless illustration that falsely suggests Russian influence or threats of violence comes in gulfs: the farther away, the less danger.
Nonsense: wherever they can get a foothold (like in the USA or the Netherlands right now) they will do so. There is hardly a geographical limit to Russian interference of any kind.
A good example in the past was Cuba.

    'We did not give them everything they wanted', but we made sure it was more than enough to continue the onslaught on the Palestinian people in Gaza and on the West-Bank. We Israel keeps prohibiting all food and humanitarian aid to enter Gaza and all the world is silent.

    Pieter Omtzigt heeft de potentiële verkiezingswinst van de SP 'afgeroomd': door het vertrek van Renske Leijten bij de SP was Omtzigt ineens het enige boegbeeld van het politieke verzet tegen het onrechtvaardig en onrechtmatig gedrag van de overheid: Marijnissen was in dat dossier vrijwel onzichtbaar.
    De electorale opbrengst ging logischerwijze naar Omtzigt.

    Uitzonderingen bevestigen de regel (dat ik geen peilingen volg): deze vind ik zeer hoopgevend qua premiersambities van PvdA-GL. Alleen erg jammer dat PvdD iets weg lijkt te zakken. Verder: NSC lijkt over de top heen en BBB duikt dieper de diepte in:

    Wilders heeft nog nooit iets constructiefs bijgedragen met de PVV. Waarom zouden we in verkiezingssprookjes moeten geloven? De neoliberale VVD jaren hebben het sociale weefsel en ditto infrastructuur in de samenleving grote schade toegebracht. Waarom zou dat anders worden? Het moet echt anders. De mens en zijn behoeftes weer centraal. Een beter sociaal vangnet, sociale woningbouw, minder shareholders value.
