@ana teoricamente o retrato mais recente que a Wikipédia possa usar sem quebrar direitos autorais, que eu saiba (retratos publicados oficialmente para uso da imprensa por exemplo, ou que sejam Creative Commons 0, etc.)
Acho que tem uns critérios de qualidade subjetivos tbm, mas não sei exatamente

@elilla the Rebuild series of movies is wild to me because 1.11 was released when I was in high school and living with parents. The fourth (and final) film was released after I had graduated university (which I started "late" compared to my peers), was married, moved to a different state, etc.

@felipesiles o meio acadêmico basicamente destrói quem pratica ciência com humildade e honestidade. Quantidade é mais valorizada que qualidade. Dependendo da instituição e país, sua pesquisa tem que agradar bilionários senão não vai ter verba pra continuar acontecendo. Eu acho muito triste

    @rzeta0 IMO it's more that it can be easily reframed as such now. While he has always been a horrible person, his popularity was much higher then than it is now. Add to that writers that are easily excited about tech (likely for Star Trek) and either aren't aware of Musk's horribleness, or simply don't care that he's awful and actively support him, we get this sort of scene.

    I bet he will never be mentioned in Trek again, though, and if he is, it'll be in a negative light.

    @atomicpoet I'm not saying you can't do that. I'm saying that this is not an effective method to combat the prevalence of DRM.
    Marketing is a much bigger force than any grassroots boycott campaign.

    @atomicpoet Sure. But that's entirely different to "combatting" DRM. It's good to avoid DRM'd media, and we should hope that everyone would do the same as you, but that's not likely to happen.
    This sort of change needs to happen at a systemic level. DRM needs to be outlawed, the Right To Repair movement is making strides in that with regards to hardware and physical products in general.
    The Software/Game Preservation movements are heading towards that too, but not as much.

    Aparentemente mudaram o barulhino de notificação do Whatsapp Web.
    É menos estridente/irritante, mas é tbm tão diferente do anterior q fiquei confuso procurando de qual aba tava vindo um barulhinho.

    Edit: Alarme falso, era o áudio do meu computador q tava bugado e cortando a primeira metade do barulho normal, deixando só o "reverb" q acontece no final

    1. Windows is the only useful operating system, I don't like or dislike it, I just use it

    2. Why does Microsoft keep making Windows worse, why do we keep seeing more and more ads

    Quase todo vídeo do Did You Know Gaming que envolve a Nintendo, mais eu questiono a fama do Shigeru Miyamoto como gênio do game design.
    Volta e meia tem algo sobre algum game designer subalterno dando uma ideia irada q ele rejeitava.
    Aí a mesma ideia aparecia anos depois em alguma continuação distante e era extremamente bem recebida. E não é o tipo de coisa de chefe roubando ideia dos subalternos, pq nas continuações tbm não era dele q a ideia vinha.
