@HailsandAles I listened to it as its had some hype but yeah I thought it was boring. So many bands in that space doing it far better. At a couple of points I did smile cos it sounded like a bad CKY.

@HailsandAles tbh I think this one goes far more on the prog route and doesn't grab you immediately. I could see prog rock fans really digging it if they gave it a chance. I don't think its too extreme for a lot of that crowd. Or maybe thats just my ears.

Manic Street Preachers - Lifeblood ๐ŸŽถ Giving this another listen due to the reissue and I'm sure they'll play a lot on the next tour. Its still my least favourite Manics album though.

@HailsandAles I'll be honest I know a lot of Manics fan who actually hate the album. Like full on hate it. I certainly would never go that far. I'm not saying its bad.

@HailsandAles the main complaints I've heard and read from Manics fans are that it sounds like a second rate Depeche Mode or New Order. They see the power of the Manics being James' guitar and its not really present.
