Chevy Sparks. They pack well and hold their value

Nomecks,

No such thing as a high speed getaway

Sorry Live Nation, the billionaires gouging us for food and shelter take precedence. 😢😢😢

Nomecks, (edited )

They make chips that do super complex math really really fast. They also make super fast networking gear to allow a crapload of them to do super complex math together

Nomecks,

Stop them from what? Selling high test weed?

Nomecks,

He committed a felony of moral turpitude. He’s permanently inadmissible.

Can I refuse MS Authenticator?

So my company decided to migrate office suite and email etc to Microsoft365. Whatever. But for 2FA login they decided to disable the option to choose “any authenticator” and force Microsoft Authenticator on the (private) phones of both employees and volunteers. Is there any valid reason why they would do this, like it’s...

Nomecks,

If your company is enforcing geographic location as a security qualifier then MS Authenticator can poll your device. Also you can use push authentication with the MS suite.

Nomecks,

I just got it enabled and it most definitely wants your location. It has to poll my device’s location once an hour by my work’s policy.

I was gonna say this is my favorite, with IRCn on top. It’s been a while since I connected. Is EFNet still around?

Nomecks,

Olive oil smokes burns at low temps and shouldn’t be used for searing.

Nomecks,

I think you get a split of hard right conspiracy theorists and hard left granola crunchers.

Nomecks,

Something Awful charged :10bux: for membership and was a pillar of good moderation. It works.

Nomecks,

I saw it on the SA foums in one of the Photoshop Phriday theeads

Nomecks,

I’m on the waiting list to buying a sub compact car. There’s almost no new ones available where I am. A four year old version of any subcompact has only depreciated like $3k. Everyone says that nobody wants small cars yet here’s evidence that they’re highly sought after.

Totally shocking that all you can get at most dealers is a much larger compact SUV.

Nomecks,

UNLIKE THE OTHER SIDE, WHO ACTIVELY SUPPORT GENOCIDE!

Nomecks,

I don’t need to say it, I saw it for four years. It’s not theoretical.

Nomecks,

Listen Elon, I have three words that will blow your mind: Middle out compression!

Nomecks,

Him and everyone else. The only problem is that NVIDIA can only build them so fast, and there’s only so much high power datacenter space.

Nomecks,

Not a little bit at a time. When they sold all land they would have paid out fat dividends and fees due to the huge profit windfall.

Nomecks,

I’ve heard “It’s like selling ice to Eskimos”.

Erasure coding may be a better option than RAID.

So I went out to buy the smallest car I could. Just to drive downtown to work. There’s really two choices where I am: A Hyundai Venue or a Mitsubishi Mirage. There’s a month+ wait on either, and used ones seem to only lose about $1k of value a year.

Appparently There’s no market for small cars though!
