We took Wesley for a walk towards Portgordon last night and say a few of the seal colony which lives there. there was around 30 last year but winter storms destroyed the rookery. 😟

@Steampunk_Prof Strangely, no, we missed the aurora. However, I was awake at 02:00 and there was a noise, not the sea, not the wind and not the rain, so it could have been the aurora. People say it makes a whispering noise.

@NormanDunbar I've got a thing about photos with flowers & rocks (even if it is concrete & dandelions). Weather is fine & dull here. I like dull maybe because I grew up in Blackpool & sunshine meant hoards of tourists everywhere. I took the photo in Iceland.

Today's photo is one I took yesterday evening. Is a few of the flowers on MrsD's blueberry plant. Looks like we'll get a crop again this year.
@davebainbridge I know about the Balsam problem, we have an awful lot here in Yorkshire, as you say invasive and also, without predators. The good thing in its favour is, honey bees love its nectar and pollen. It makes the most beautiful honey.
The Balsam flower is more open than these blueberries. It's a bit like an orchid I think. These are in a pot in our garden and belong to MrsD. 🙂

One of my lizards was a bit highly strung, all the time. I took her to the vet who examined her and prescribed animal valium. Three tablets to be taken. It worked! She's a calmer, calmer, calmer chameleon now.
