Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Wednesday. Believe it or not, it's not raining! Shock horror! Don't worry though, it will be later.
MrsD and Wesley went out for his pre-bedtime wander last night. They had literally just opened the door when they got home, and the heavens opened big time. A lucky escape.
Hopefully the weather won't spoil your day. Have a good one, have fun, stay safe.
Today's random photo is from January 2022 on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and shows an ice rainbow.
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Tuesday which, due to the bank holiday, is currently acting as a Monday, being the first working day of the week. And it's still raining, even though the bank holiday is over.
Have a grand day regardless. Make sure you have fun and don't forget to laugh a lot. Take care.
Today's random photo is from 22nd February 2012. It's a female Common Frog heading through the garden to meet up with the boys in the pond. 😉
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to another bank holiday Monday. Looks like the weather is back on form for today, it's raining! No surprises there then.
Yesterday's bath leak fixing job seems to have been a success! MrsD and I shared a bath last night (TMI?) and there were no leaks during bath time or afterwards when the plug came out! 👍
Enjoy your BH Monday, or just your Monday as appropriate. Have fun, take care.
Today's photo is from yesterday. It's a Garden Snail on a wet tree stump.
Enjoy your trip to Weymouth. MrsD and I went there a few years back. If I remember correctly, we had coffee and cake in an outdoor café down by the corner of the harbour/marina.
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Sunday. A day of rest? Not for me. We are seeing Saint David this morning and walking Wesley. Then, later, I'm going under the bath! As our house has been sold, it is now rebelling against us. The bath is leaking! Also the new boiler but that the plumber's problem!
I have to work in the space beneath the bath in image 1, while attempting to fix a leak from the plug at the far end of image 2. I may be gone some time!
So, progress. I filled the bath this AM and noted where exactly the leak was coming from. Drip. Drip. Drip. No longer a flood as before but repair attempt 1 had obviously not been a success.
This PM, I managed to strip it all out and redo it with another new O ring. A quick test and it's looking good. Well know for sure after bath time tonight.
@NormanDunbar Yep its weird, up until I moved out of my parents my dishes and cups washed themselves, This house just hasn't got the message, in over 30 years.
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to the weekend. Yes I deed, it's Saturday. Unless I'm a day out somewhere again! The sun is currently shining, MrsD is hungover after a night out with the girls, Wesley is still asleep. A good start!!! 😃
Have a great Saturday. Have fun. Tell bad, dad jokes. Laugh a lot. Take care.
I didn't have my glasses on last night when I took this photo at our local Halfords tyre shop. It's Red Clover, but the photo looks almost AI generated. It's not!
The god Thor was feeling horny and popped down to Earth to have his way. He met a woman and they headed off to bed for a night of passion.
Then had rampant sex for the whole night. Never in her life had she had such truly wonderful sex. Who was this strong man who seemed to be able to satisfy her time and time again?
In the morning, Thor realised that he hadn't told her his name. "I'm Thor", he told her. She replied "Tho am I but it wath worth it"! 😉
Good morning fellow Mastos and hello Friday. Not long to go to the weekend plus, there's another bank holiday on Monday. Why do banks need so many holidays I wonder?
According to the forecast, the weather is doing the "wrong" thing and is actually getting better in time for the holiday. We truly have broken the climate if this is the case! 😉
Have a belter of a Friday. Have fun, whatever you do, lots of laughter and stay safe.

@NormanDunbar@MaJ1@weirdfolks well strictly speaking bank holidays are for banks and public holidays are for the general public. But since in England they didn’t seem to have any public holidays they took bank holidays, and now the anglicisation has crept all over Scotland.
This has been compounded by the loss of Town and County Councils which used to set the public holidays for each local area.
So much has been lost; many local festivals, and now a generation don’t know what a county is.
