I love assembling a DIN rail. Finally working on the O2 concentrator again.

New vacuum system controller is finally assembled. This time, I went two layers of PCBs and used 3D printed masks to isolate the LEDs. What a glow up.

Finally decided to use the wiki to find the stages where my last 50 or so stars were. Glad I did, there were some stages I was never going to find organically. For instance, the only way to get to one was a small chance that you would get warped there by the entrance for another area inside of a stage. Even knowing it was there, I had to reset the stage several times to get the warp.

Overall B3313 v1.0.1 is absolutely a killer SM64 hack if you like spooky/unsettling N64 stuff

It's mostly exploration and discovery, not crazy platforming or kaizo. It's creepy, sometimes in a campy and cheesy way but mostly in an unsettling and spooky way. If you're not a completionist, then you'll probably have the most fun, but even if you like to collect stars... I mean, there's 450 of them!

It's also fun learning how to navigate a massive, non-logical, labyrinthian, space like the B3313 overworld, if you're into that kind of thing.

It's also a great way to experience the work of a lot of different Romhack creators, because so many people worked on it.

That said, play one other hack beforehand maybe, just so you're used to the camera and the move set and you don't have to think too hard about moving Mario around.

If the dialogue boxes took themselves a little more seriously and the story made a little more sense... and if they put some in-game resources for pathfinding... and if they removed Moto's Factory (an awesome stage but it just doesn't fit the rest of the hack) then it would be a 10/10 hack for me...

Also, it would be nice if they added a modern camera alternative, because vanilla cam sucks.

But yeah, totally sick hack. I played like 250 hours between 0.7 and 1.0.1

Very tempted to keep this little gentleman, but it would defeat the point of this exercise, which is to get them and their friends out of my house 🐀

Bécane by Yamê has crept off of my fyp and onto my playlists. So smooth, and the video is pure vibes. Who knew about Cameroonian bike culture.

Because James 3D prints everything from plastic, it has to be quite bulky in a pleasing way. It gives his rideable builds a certain Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers quality that I quite like.

Dad just stopped by for coffee <3
He said his memory is not great for appointments and things still, but otherwise he seems fine. He worked in the woodshop for a while and said he'd be back up later this week.

@failedLyndonLaRouchite @Sadsquatch in fairness to the author, the phrase they use in context is "(...)the hundred-thousand–dollar medium-duty pickup, which is only any of those things in the loosest interpretive sense(...)"

Never had a reason to do this, but it's cool there's a little spy compartment.

I remove part of a disposable coffee cup lid to hide a micro SD card underneath.

Extremely psyched for Iglooghost to drop Tidal Memory Exo. I'll probably pre-order the digital, but I'm staying tuned for news on a physical release. Really hoping LuckyMe does something cool with a vinyl pressing and maybe a toy or a model of one of the ancient deep sea gods.

I've been thinking about the times in my life when I felt the most alive/present/contented, and most of them have a feeling in common that I don't have a word for. It's like the opposite of the sort of numinous "I'm so small in the grand scheme of things" feeling. Like the world is not only metaphorically smaller but physically smaller. When I've felt this way in the past, I was more inclined to use terms like "nearby" or "right over there" to describe things that were quite far away...

I often get a sense of this when watching people do parkour, or play manhunt over a large territory, or fly experimental aircraft, or even at conventions that stretch into multiple hotels around a city center, or driving into a river valley.

I left Autoplay on when I went to sleep last night and YTMusic took me on a late 90s/early oughts grunge and nu metal odyssey. The funniest dream I had was that our CTO was giving us a demo of a CAM plugin that he wanted us to use and it was godawful slow and he was like "maybe someone on the engineering team can fix it" and someone was like "yeah, I got it" and just turned on Duality by Slipknot and we all proceeded to mock his stupid plugin being like "Damn, this loading bar is sick!"
