@kdenlive Hey do you know any good films, shows or videos in general that used your software to create something really cool. As would love to see the limits of what KdenLive Can do for full time video editors.
For those of you who don't know, @Threads is being built on the ActivityPub protocol, which means that it will be interoperable with other apps/servers like Mastodon over time. This week we took a small, but important, step by allowing people in the Fediverse, who don't use Threads or even have an Instagram account, to follow my Threads account as well as a few others. Content is starting to flow from Threads to the Fediverse.
@realhackhistory Is this only when you go on Threads itself? As there obviously issues with EU and other countries law if they are collecting that data without permission on non-threads users.
If it's for the users that are on Threads only then it's what people seem to want to feel comfy then sure that's ok I guess. Just use other Instances to stop it.
First, Threads is expanding to more countries across Europe, so people there can follow and join the conversations they care about. We’re starting to roll out in more countries now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store; www.threads.net is live everywhere now.
@mosseri Glad to see you on here, followed you yesterday and wondered when there were gonna be updates, glad you are here and I hope you and your team are a great start to making the Fediverse a great place for the whole internet. Keep up the good work.
@wjmaggos From what I can see it seems to be a slow load, so they are slowly bringing a few people. I would guess it would be something they will slowly add in the next couple of days / weeks.
The Threads user of @mosseri is accessible, but no posts yet. They seem to post once per day so we should hopefully see the first Threads Fediverse post soon if they have done it right.
