I'm working on something: a browser-based tool for viewing a mastodon account archive that requires zero setup or knowledge of the file format and works completely without a server so your data never leaves your device and you have full privacy (your nudes are safe).
I've gotten the very basics to work in a proof of concept and now I'm interested what features would be good to have in such a tool.
How would you like to navigate an archive of all your posts? Maybe an export into some other format? Filters? Search?
We are far from perfect, but are committed to being better each day. Generalist server but we are home to many trans, queer and disabled folks.
We are fully funded for the year and are able to fund ourselves beyond that if necessary. There are two admins, who are both committed to keeping the server up.
@Erdrandbewohner was hältst du denn davon das nur für die Feiertage zu machen? 5 „unter normalen Umständen“ fixe Urlaubstage wo die Chef*in nicht nein sagen kann. Dann kann man sich entscheiden ob man Weihnachten, Jom Kippur oder das Zuckerfest frei haben mag.
Diese Fixierung auf christliche Feiertage würde ich gerne loswerden…
Is there a way to auto-generate a new method in PHPStorm? I'm aware of the generate method from usage. Tired of typing out public function methodname() {}. Hopefully something super obvious I am overlooking, or do I need to use templates?

After almost 4 years my Samsung S10 started to really show its age. Battery didn't hold power enough anymore to get through a day, slow, etc. Thought about swapping the battery but decided against it after seeing the iFixit guide on it - looked like a terrible experience.
I really wanted to go with something like a Fairphone, but from what I heard the camera (VERY important to me) just isn't there yet.
So for now, it became a Pixel 6a. Hoping for repairable options in the future though🤞

Jedesmal wenn ich lese „glaubt poc/lgbtq/juden/frauen…“ wenn sie sagen sie werden angegriffen, fühle ich so ein „aber was, wenn sie lügen“… das kommt daher, dass ich ein großer, weißer Mann bin. Ich werde nicht angegriffen, höchstens fehlbezichtigt, „denn ich bin toll.“
So ein Quatsch. Klar kann das passieren, aber die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist verschwindend.
Also:
Wenn jemand sagt sie werden angegriffen, erstmal schützen, dann weiter schauen.
