Yesterday, my wife had a very important online meeting to sign some forms. I had already set everything up, tested audio and video well ahead of the meeting. 15 minutes ahead of the meeting, the site refuses to use the camera, I am troubleshooting, the other party has called on the telephone. Things are very hectic, but she gets me to laugh by suggesting I click the Help Chat.

After 2 browsers, and 2 reboots, turns out I just needed to unplug and re-connect the camera.

Monitors as USB hub seems like a dodgy idea.

I had never heard of this phenomenon of “decanting” but when a lot of your food doesn’t even come in packages, or the packages cannot stand up to use over time (like for grains, legumes, or flours), then a storage solution is key to maintaining sanity.
