You can tell that Chad really isn't much of a Chad at all going by how the usual unit in common parlance is actually the Gigachad.

and here I thought Pascals and Teslas were awkwardly normalized. This is like Farad levels of inconvenient scaling

@rygorous We need to calibrate this by experimentation. If you fire one Chad at one milliHelen, does that completely cancel to form one Nuclear Family and 2.7 Millennials, or do we need to tweak the verniers some more?

@aeva I had a fantastic weekend driving around in circles very fast and NOT hitting anybody (even though it looked like I tried very hard to hit them).

Also had a tiny bit of schadenfreude that someone I like tried a bit too hard to hit me without hitting me and almost hit me, but didn't. But we still made fun of him for it.

Having a charge-the-collection day. Every time I do this iPod I forget it's a HD based machine until partway through it fires up the drive with a noise that sounds like the ones that early morning huntsman spiders make when they click to each other on the walls.

@pervognsen Like honestly my day job is working in a pre-existing large codebase, and the number of times I have to restrain myself from fixing some convoluted mess with a simple "goto" is easily >=3 per week.

If the code is scary, it should look scary. And goto is scary by design. You should be scared! But not pathologically phobic.

@pervognsen I mean LLVM has no flow control constructs except for "goto" so yeah good job bending over backwards to avoid that, structured programming fetishists.
