YouTube is constantly testing and implementing new ways to bypass blockers.

When you do see an ad, you can reload the tab to play the video, instead of waiting for the ad to finish.

some time ago i discovered the "manage windows" feature on Android, I really liked it (although a bit limited),
I ended up closing all windows but the main one(for whatever reason)

However, now i want it but I can't find it, looking at the change log makes it seem like it's for folding phones (and maybe tablets)

I'm using the nothing phone 2 ,
Which is not a folding phone

Any idea what might be wrong, and how to get it back?

I would definitely love to see that feature on (non folding) mobile (as a workspace equivalent)

Yes! It's not the default setting, but you can select between system notifications, in browser dialogs and couple of cool effects.

Have you tried searching with Startpage, which delivers Google's results while respecting your privacy?
In Vivaldi, just use the search engine nickname 's' in front of your search term to get results from Startpage. :tony_normal:

Is Microsoft's new feature a privacy nightmare?

Microsoft recently announced ‘Recall’, a feature that lets Windows users to search for content across time on their PCs.

According to Microsoft, Recall takes screenshots every five seconds, which are then stored locally.

However, it's unclear if these will be used for model training, cloud backups, or online analysis.

AFAICT (and I'm basing it on old information I could find on this topic), it's disabled because on macOS, unlike other platforms, smooth scrolling is enabled regardless of that flag.

Hey @Vivaldi! Why can't I set my preferred search engine on the Android app? I can add a custom search for desktop. Why not Android?

Not being able to use address bar search on mobile (the way I want) is a big problem for me.

You can add custom search engines to Vivaldi on Android by adding them on desktop and syncing the devices.

So, I have 2 computers that I use every day. However, I only have a single monitor.

In order to use either one, I have to turn the other off, because of the single monitor issue.

I have tried to "sync" the VIVALDI browser on each computer with one another, but it appears to be an undoable thing. Or, perhaps I am missing something.

This is important because I am trying to use the VIVALDI CALENDAR for appointments. I can enter information into one computer, but it is then not available on the other. This is what I thought using "SYNC" would be useful for.

Is there any way that I can "sync" both VIVALDI browsers (one on each computer) to one another, when one computer is OFF and I am using the other, then shut that one down, fire up the other and then sync that one to the one I just shut down?

Or, must both computers be up and running for them to sync to one another?

TL;DR, I know ... but there is no other way to 'splain!

Do you use local or online calendars? You'll need to use the latter to be able to access the same events and tasks from multiple devices as local calendars are not synced. You can use any calendar service that supports CalDAV.

Also, as long as syncing has finished before you shut down your computer, you'll be able to sync the data on the other computer while the first one is turned off.

I’m reading an article, and every so often it throws this page.

I’ve checked my WiFi and it’s all good, there is no Geomagnetic activity that could disrupt it, I have a feeling this is a @Vivaldi thing. And I have tested on Firefox with no issues at all. iOS is the OS.

Vivaldi is there anything you can do, or know about. Maybe an issue with the adblock, I’m honestly not sure.

@Vivaldi When I wake my MacBook from sleep, keyboard shortcuts in Vivaldi don’t work until I restart the browser. (At least I think it is sleep that is the trigger, but not completely sure there is a correlation between computer sleep and lost shortcuts.)
