Since this got a surprising amount of traction, I’lljust clarify I don’t mean the founders are necessarily bad people. They’re saying this technology is expensive and nobody would fund it, so they’re doing something commercial to stay afloat. It’s sad to read that nobody would fund it.

Hope and I are in Glasgow and just had to duck into a Markies on Argyle Street as a mob of masked rangers fans passed by shouting and breaking stuff. M&S security was shouting into his microphone to get someone down to lock the door. Seems to have calmed a bit now but I assume there’s an old firm game today that I’m going to have to try and avoid with Hope.

I get my ADHD meds from Amazon every few weeks.

I should make an influencer video about my exacting and artisan coffee process of shaking the tin into a random mug till it looks about right, pouring water from a kettle boiled sometime in the last 10 minutes or so and adding some milk. Every 45 minutes or so between 7am and midnight.

Just got phished on discogs and had to cancel my card in a hurry. Luckily I figured out what was going on quickly. Kicking myself, such a fucking idiot.

I had a couple of records for sale that I'd forgotten about. Got a message saying someone was buying one but that since it was my first sale I had to verify stuff. typed in my card number and exp date CVV and then got sent to another form asking for the balance on the card, which I balked at. Told the buyer via messaging that I wanted to confirm with discogs before I did anything.

Then:

  1. realised I already had a linked Paypal account so why ask for a card?
  2. realised the form looked worse than the usual really awful discogs web design
  3. realised the "buyer" was only registered on discogs today.
  4. penny dropped.

So this is what I get for clicking links, and for cutting a very amateurish website some slack in its clunky design and payment authorisation.

@NanoRaptor I’ve been really keen to try meds but not so keen to go through a multi year process with the NHS for a diagnosis. It’s like I want a months meds to try and if they work, I’ll do the diagnosis time to get more.

A report card from year 10. It reads in part: English, Grade A, Dana is a very able and talented student who does not always give of her best. This failure to invest much energy in her English prevents her from achieving her full potential although this is not the say that this work is of an inferior standard. Also, Mathematics (Advanced), Grade A, Dana is a keen student but her work lacks discipline. She has a lot of ability but this needs further development.
