I messed up, accidentally broke off the dumpvalve instead of nulling it. It's very null now, and very good at dumping. Tried to fix it with ducttape, but...

So I used a bunch of sugru instead. About 5-6 packages or so :v
Let's let it dry overnight and see if it holds.
Worst case: sfffffFFFFF (air leak)
Best case: ssTUtututu (impeller cavitation from backpressure)

Spoiler: I tested too soon and the still soft sugru popped open :drgn_lurk_sob:

I got some different glues at the hardware store, managed to drive there with the car, the car still easily does 100km/h+ despite the hole, and it actually also sounds wicked haha

Driving into a small underpass tunnel, hitting the throttle in second gear, making a funny rerry noise :3

Alright, attempt #2, got some different kind of fancy 2-component moldable glue / filler that's supposed to be stronger and dries much faster. Let's see how it goes

@knowattitude this is actually hilarious and an amazingly apt metaphor for me

My car's display is broken and it does actually not show ANYTHING for gas levels, but the 'emergency reserve' light still works so that's when I go to the gas station.

and after this comic I realize that's actually also how my real body works; I have no idea what my gas level is until the emergency reserve light comes on so I gotta keep in mind the distance I've covered or it'll come at an unfortunate time :laughcry:
