I purchased a domain today in the hopes of starting something I've wanted to do for a long time. I hate waste, especially #ewaste and I noticed a few of my local community members in dire need of computers but can't afford to get them. I decided that I'm going to try to get folks to donate their old hardware (desktops and laptops mostly) that are 5-7 years old (so 64bit works smoothly) and install #Linux on them and donate those recycled machines to the folks in need. I can't be the only guy working in tech that wants to start a farming community because I'm absolutely terrified of the future and know that we're on the cusp of disaster or maybe I'm just a millennial... not sure if I'm just certain that we're due for our 14th tragic "once in a generation" event or I'm super jaded. Probably both.

I was enjoying #BeeperMini on my #Android device and NOW Apple has come along, turned into the evil queen, poisoned the apple and turned off access to their network for the app. I'm not even mad I paid my $2 to Beeper, I'm more mad at CrApple for undermining the gapping security hole they have between Android and #iOS devices simply because #iMessage is the ONLY thing keeping people in the walled #Apple ecosystem at this point, at least on the mobile front. #rant

Heard my neighbor yell at her husband as he was outside weed eating as quickly as humanely possible with the sounds of frequent thunder and looming storm clouds above to, "HURRY UP IT'S GONNA RAIN SOON!". His reply was, "WELL NO SHIT! WHY DO YOU THINK IM JOGGING?! PRACTICING FOR A MARATHON?!" I hate people.
