I made this some years ago for my niece who I think was around 6 years old at the time. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Sorry, I don’t remember what pattern I used. I stuffed it with old socks and T-shirts that I cut into pieces.
Seven is going on 18 years old and still very much kicking. He’s no longer an outdoor cat but he gets let out for a dirt bath in the driveway once in a while.
Thank you. The artist is Mae Wu working out of A Thin Line Tattoo in Batavia IL. She said she wasn’t super comfortable doing color but I think she did an amazing job.
Ooh, that’s exciting! Please post pics when you do.
If you like the style of mine, here’s a tip: I told the artist I don’t want any hard outlines / line art. Here is what it looked like before she shaded in the black areas:
This guy I had a huge crush on in junior high tracked me down when I was in my 20s. I was thrilled at first, then learned he had turned into kind of a cultish religious nut. Instant turnoff.
Then there’s my first true love from my early 20s. I can’t remember why exactly we broke up but we stayed in touch and even hooked up again some years later. Then we both got married and eventually lost touch. He reached out to me again recently, and I was hit by that same old feeling. But I realize it’s like what you said, it’s a feeling I once had. People change over the years – I sure have – and I know almost nothing about him now. Plus we’re both still married. Still flattering for me though.
I know many other seasoned Star Trek fans out there have probably experienced this one many times before. But I just watched this episode for the first time and the writing, acting and story just blew me away. So far it is by far one of my favourite scenes and episodes of the series so far. The dialogue between Bashir and Garak...
I did 140mph once. I redlined my poor Civic trying to keep up with a Supra. We were both weaving through traffic (Vegas to L.A.) and I did manage to keep up for a while. Looking back now that I’m older, I’m just really thankful we didn’t cause an accident.
My eyesight went to shit from sitting at a desk and staring at a monitor all day. I wonder if my eyesight would’ve remained perfect well into adulthood without computers.
I love seeing the other cats because they remind me of playing computer games with this little guy snoozing on my lap. He passed away last year after a good life, and I’ll always smile when I see this picture.
This is one of my favorites. Also Shawshank Redemption and The Birdcage. Although I learned recently that a lot of humor in The Birdcage goes over the heads of younger people.
Edit: Sharing this here in case you haven’t seen it…

How old are you based on economic experience or position?
Ill start, I never used a check. The only way I can get a house is waiting for my parents to die.
to those of you of either sex who wear thongs or strings, doesn't the back side get in direct contact with your anus?
and, don’t you notice something rubbing against it when you move?

What's your fave movie of all time that you love to recommend to people?
For me it’s Interstellar, it never fails to make me ugly cry at least twice during each viewing
