TIL: even if I've switched my Android phone off, if it's not in DND mode, it'll boot to ring your alarm. Freaking perfect I'd you're in the cinema or on a plane.

Edited: replies suggest this is not the same across phones. OnePlus 6T with oxygen does this. Does yours?

After a month+ of hacking on #GithubActions and I'm in a right mix about it. Great for building, but I'm unconvinced on using it for deployment.

Even with Merge Queue, and trunk-based development, I struggle with good patterns for roll out, roll back, promotion etc etc.

All thoughts and links welcomed.

UK folks, anybody gone #5G sim based broadband? Any opinions on #routers. Friend in a rural area has great 5G signal but dreadful Internet over the phone line and fibre is years away. What kit will work well for a family of non tech folks?
House has a games console, iPads, Netflix TV etc.

At work, challenge Three Letter Acronyms (TLA) at every opportunity.

• They are a barrier to entry for those who don't live in your work
• People are embarrassed to ask, so at best they are distracted Googling. Mostly they are now just not understanding
• When used in combinations they make sentences difficult to parse. "We're targeting key SLOs as a way to maintain our SLAs as one of our OKRs for EOW".

I freaking hate them
