This morning I voted in the #NationalTrust elections online. I wouldn't normally have bothered but some of the candidates to the board were railing against 'woke', so I felt it was my civic duty to pick the most woke candidates I could find 🌈🏳️‍🌈

That quick vote sure is handy when you're pressed for time!

Discussing the problems of toxicity/hate in social media without talking about the fediverse is like moaning about Welsh rain without mentioning umbrellas.

Disappointing, particularly after the interactions I've had with the Hiraeth team on this exact topic.

Perhaps they could invite @jaz to a future episode to talk about alternatives to the mainstream 🤔

Got #Droidian running on my #Pixel6.

No calls or SMS, but quite impressed with a lot of the other functionality. Looking forward to playing with it and learning more. Thanks to everyone who has developed #MobileLinux and all the other bits that make it work.

I'm particularly interested as a parent with kids who will likely be getting phones in the next few years. I need to daily drive to convince myself it's the right option for them 👍

Questions for linux phone enthusiasts:

1. What's to stop Instagram etc creating apps for mobile linux? (In principle I mean, obviously there's no market yet)
2. Is it possible to set up phones with users, so (in principle) you could have a child as a user who can't install anything without the root password?
