I saw a post on my timeline yesterday, not sure who posted it. The post was talking about how a lot of stuff on mastodon is either tech or politics or news. It would be awesome to see different stuff posted...something out of the norm...or maybe I just need to find new people to follow. I wish I'd reposted the thing I saw at the time I saw it.

@johann that’s the beauty of having a back up bank account, my friend. I had set it up in case my main account got compromised and I needed to move my money very quickly. Turns out it comes in handy for getting six months ahead of your local library and 8 to 12 ahead of the United States government.

@threlm4280 someone is sick of having to wait until the next one is about to come out to read the newest one, and the national library service is no help. I refuse to use bookshare with these because I like the narrator so much.

@kalayo the main thing I’m worried about is the amount of actual paper I would have to deal with. This is a problem because I have zero vision and wouldn’t be able to read my own papers.

@InsaneAtheist i’ve been reading these since there were only 10 of them. The emotional damage we got from book 3 was bad enough. If he does something stupid with this new one he’s paying my therapy bills.
