I remember being taught in middle school or high school that the us was the “world’s policeman.” As if that was a good thing. But ironically it kinda tracks, considering the many situations in which irrational police involvement leads to violent outcomes against civilians in situations that would have otherwise remained peaceful.

If you have a chronic medical condition like epilepsy or diabetes wear an alert bracelet and carry two days worth of meds.

N 95 masks are dual purpose.

2 photos taken today, by one of my regular #LittleFreeLibrary guests. From a friendly senior lady, who I met 3 years ago, when I first set up my LFL. She's been telling folks about it since the first time we met & visits my LFL at least once a week. I gift her flowers & random fun goodies for her 4 grandchildren, when I have extras available to share. I've made friends with a few of my regular LFL guests 🥰

One of the things that delayed me from becoming nice and pragmatic about code is StackOverflow

Any question like "how do I iterate over a dictionary" and everyone's like "DON'T, use a different collection instead".

Truth is, absolutely iterate over a dictionary. If your way of accessing it during performance critical stuff is by key instead of iteration, you're using it right. There's no harm iterating over it for cleanup stuff in loading or exit code.
