I don't remember if I ever mentioned this before, but for over 20 years now, I've been getting someone else's e-mails. I don't think it's a malicious spammer, I think it's someone accidentally always entering in my e-mail address instead of theirs. This has been happening since as long as I've had my main Gmail* address, so since... 2004? When did Gmail start?

*please do not use this as an opportunity to tell me to migrate off of Gmail/Google products, I already know okay

@renkotsuban I KNOW. But similar things to yours in the past too. Political stuff with someone else's name, a car warranty thing, etc. I kinda admire others who need their email so rarely they don't remember it haha

One reason people in marginalized groups like to publicly air this stuff is because keeping it "private" helps the people making the overreaching demands. Your sarcastic patronizing of me is also not helpful at all. I've been on this instance for years and you've jumped at a ghost in order to take me to task. I actually think you made up this "complaint" in the first place.

Why on earth would I have tagged you into the conversation? And what is "absolutely inappropriate" here? I guess I'm glad I'm realizing now what a wild leadership mismatch this space has been for me.

    @dgc_admin @rnlf It's very weird that you keep insisting communication about reports is private. It isn't. Keeping your reprimand to me private only hurts me and helps you. I've never sent a DM here that I wouldn't mind being shared. Feel free to find some and share them. They literally aren't even secure.

    It's clear you don't like me, so don't worry, I've applied elsewhere and will leave as soon as I'm able. I have not done anything inappropriate at any stage here.

    @dgc_admin @rnlf I'm a science journalist and people talk about me and my work all over the place. I lead queer games bundle and that is also talked about.     The great 2024 #decluttering has turned up this. It’s a washable colouring in map thingy. I’m very tempted to turn it into a small quilt. Maybe with flags around the outside as a border? Could maybe colour in the critters with embroidery? 🤔
