Hey #webdesign#webdev folks, I'm looking for an example of an HTML “Style guide" page for a website. I've seen some blogs that sport this in the past but can't for the life of me find one again or Google for it. It's basically just a simple page on a site that has examples of all (or most) HTML elements and how they are styled for that site. I could just make one myself but would prefer to boostrap the process by getting a pre-made one to start and tweak from there. Thanks!
Does anyone have any recommendations for simple graphic apps for the Mac? I want to create various-sized images and add a background colour, some text, some icons, etc.
First post in a while... This one summarises a conversation @sarajw and I had last month about the barrier to making websites if you're not a developer...
@robb, haha, damnit, Robb! I was thinking of including some details of my garage workspace and tool bench last night as I was doing some tidy-up work in there!
I will spend an hour or so catching up on articles I've saved or left open in tabs.
I'll be bookmarking the ones I find interesting to my website, you can follow along with the feed, https://flamedfury.com/bookmarks-feed.xml, it'll refresh sporadically!
@cory@robb@mstrkapowski these concerns go away if the “social media” interactions and replies are dropped and the focus is put on “mention-of” where webmasters intentionally craft a response on their own websites…
@cory I’ve been playing with system-ui for body don’t. Still want something fancy for homepage header with what I’ve got planned for this months redesign….
I just published a big update for #Eleventy Excellent! Everything is the same and everything is different, I try and explain it a little bit in the blog of the preview, though I still plan to (and I hope I really will! :blobcatfearful: ) document everything better to make upgrading easier.
Thank you @belldotbz for sharing your excellent workflow with us! 💚
