@deadsuperhero Imagine a GPS that used AI to read out directions in the style, and voice, of Linus Torvald's angry rants on the LKML. That would be epic.
"The Pew Research Center has released a report that underscores how the claims that there has been a seismic shift toward Republicans among nonwhite voters have been wrong all along."
Republicans make stuff up, and the purported shift of Black voters to Trump is totally made up. The significant question here is, Why do New York Times and major media outlets amplify this stuff? They surely know better.
Maybe if Biden was forced to hear from his constituents he might learn that his policies towards Israel are woefully unpopular. Instead he's insulated himself and only hears from his sycophants.
At least Obama got out there and talked to the people. Before this campaign season started when was the last time Biden actually sat down and met with his constituents?
If I want to just hear what the White House says there are a multitude of avenues to be spoon fed the spin.
My point is it's not really that great that @potus is here. Not when Threads is only broadcasting Threads users to the Fediverse and not taking any of the replies. (And I'm a staunch supporter for Threads being on the fediverse!)
But another broadcast channel is the absolute last thing we need.
There really needs to be a way for an instance admin to be able to automatically ignore reports from a specific server. Especially when those users have no fucking clue what it is they're reporting.
Welp, Linux Mint LMDE just does not like my hardware. I couldn't successfully get through updates due to "Unknown key type PC_SUPER_LEVEL2" errors popping up all over the place, breaking GRUB and some other things. I decided to give Pop!_OS another whirl on this machine.
