Just got home and tuned in to the #NHLJets game. I ‘watched’ the first 7 or 8 minutes on the radio coverage, it sure sounded like the rink was tilted towards the south end! Is that what it looked like as well?

The Squirrel "Wars" - a series

A while back I got into putting out bird feeders. Kinda neat, watching the little critters flitting about, squawking and scrapping over birdseed. One lesson, chick-a-dees don't take shit from anybody! And bluejays are cowards.

But there was a squirrel in the neighbourhood. And he kinda liked the free pickings as well. I didn't think he should partake. So, I developed anti-squirrel measures. /1

Most are incredible and very professionally done, and fit very nicely into my ‘shortened of late’ attention span. I was hit hard in the feels tonight with “Those We Carry” at https://youtu.be/wxyu1AQ1pls. The eyeball leaking started about two minutes in, and it was totally compelling right to the end.

Winnipeg Ice take on the Seattle Thunderbirds this weekend at Canada Life Centre to open the WHL championship finals on the road to the Memorial Cup. Big change from the U of M arena where they regularly play home games.

I was tempted to pick up tickets for the Friday game BUT ran into the TicketMaster TicketRacket. My hatred of TicketMaster is so strong it deters me from even looking at tickets for big events...
