@mike I don’t see a lineup for tonight posted yet, and the latest roster I saw didn’t have him assigned a number. Players have up to 48 hours to report, and my guess is not tonight. But, I have been wrong before in my prognostications and hope to be wrong again!

are way to static for an NHL powerplay. They practically stand still in their preassigned spots.

@mike Yup. They become easier to play against when they stick to the script too much. Some of the more creative players (Ehlers, Connor as examples) seem to be somewhat stifled. But fire wagon hockey isn’t always good either. Somewhere in between please!

That's a pretty edgy play by Appleton. I kind of like it but I'm not sure it's worth being shorthanded for two and they're going to call that every time. :JetsRetro:

Obvious two on one develops and TSN decides to cut to a small scrum behind the play. Completely missed the goal as it happened. Do better TSN.

@mike Perf seems to have been slipping lately. I’ve always felt his size (or lack thereof) has him at a disadvantage but don’t know if that’s a part of today’s status. You can’t question the heart or hockey smarts tho.

@mike Good first period, other than more struggles clearing the front of the net and clearing their own zone. A silly tilt between Lowry and Schenn that didn’t amount to much, except to give Kevin Sawyer something to reminisce and fish over. The score reflects the period pretty well.

@mike @caffeinatedgeek Yup, that’s the ‘should do’. We’ve not always seen the adjustment during the game to change how things are going. Afternoon game? Sure it’s a change of routine but both teams go through it…
