Hello fellow self-hosters. I’m currently self-hosting the servarr stack, including jellyseer, radarr/sonarr, prowlarr transmission, and jellyfin. It works great....
You can use lists in Readarr. Set up a Goodreads account, link Readarr to a list in Goodreads. Any books in the list will automatically be added to Readarr.
Hi guys! I’m going at my first docker attempt…and I’m going in Proxmox. I created an LXC container, from which I installed docker, and portainer. Portainer seems happy to work, and shows its admin page on port 9443 correctly. I tried next running the image of immich, following the steps detailed in their own guide....
Jim’s Garage on YT, he recently did a video about running Docker in an LXC. I think you’ll find the info you need there. It can be done, but if you’re new to Docker and/or LXCs, it adds an additional layer of complexity you will have to deal with for every container/stack you deploy.
Currently, I run Unraid and have all of my services’ setup there as docker containers. While this is nice and easy to setup initially, it has some major downsides:...
I was gifted a 900 Gram bag of Milo (I assume that’s some shrinkflation crap). I love Malt and Cocoa, but this is bland and chalky. What do I do with it? So far I have tried it hot and cold on its own and mixed in coffee hot and cold. My next thought was using it in baked goods, something like an American Brownie....
Hey, I’ve recently designed a Poster about the FHS since I often forget where I should place or find things. Do you have any feedback how to make it better?...
Been using “Whisk” for a while but they were bought by Samsung and have been slowly going down hill. Any good iOS apps for recipes? I hear good things about Paprika but not sure if it’s worth it…...
I’ve been using Paprika for years now. It works really well and has all the features I need. It works with Apple’s family sharing, so other family members can access it, too. Highly recommend.
I’ve had similar experiences with FF and HA. I tried everything that has been suggested to you and kept having problems. In the end I installed Brave just for HA. I still use FF for everything else.
The sheer number of videos taken "the wrong way round" (for my computer's monitor) is mind-boggling. I get that some people watch videos on their phones, but is it really that many?
Heard about his on the self hosted podcast and just installed it and it works great. Dont use the given compose file just make your own with the linuxserver image. Here's mine and it works over tailscale and through my reverse proxy....
I've been exploring the fediverse and subbing and posting all over the damn place. Realizing lemmy can federate with kbin blew my mind. Not to mention the possibility of turning my old laptop into a personal server to host my own instance. Is this what it felt like to discover how the internet worked in the 90s?
Jellyseer for ebooks?

“Peripheral” canceled at Amazon (variety.com)
I’m amazed season two wasn’t already finished before the strike. The last episode aired in 2022. What were they doing all year?
