i don't know why people are so against facebook joining the fediverse, sure they're evil, but it's an open standard

if this was reversed and facebook was blocking open projects from their standard people would loose their fucking minds

why build an open standard simply to gatekeep who can use it?

I've been daily driving @kde on a Surface Laptop Go for just under a week now, and I gotta say, this is the best KDE experience I've ever had.

It turned this laptop from a hot and slow machine that froze up constantly (under GNOME) to a snappy and really enjoyable machine.

I don't know what happened between October and now, but KDE has gotten significantly more usable for me, good job KDE devs, can't wait for 6.0
