UPS delivered an envelope to my house, for a previous owner. We've lived here over 2 years. I have no forwarding info for them (they sold the house to a company, and we bought from them 6 months later).

The envelope appears to be from an Indian bank, and had tracking.

What do?

I have officially lost 50 lbs since last July 😊

I can now run for 30 minutes without a walking break, and I run 3x a week.

I do strength training 3-4x a week, and have gone from not being able to lift myself at all on the pull up bar with the strongest resistance band, to doing a full pull up with that band - I've moved on to the next band now.

I can lift and carry all of my kids, two at a time. I can give my kids piggy back rides. I can roller skate for 2 hours with my daughter.

It took me 3 months of training 3x a week at the gym using the assisted pull up machine to go from no movement on the bar to this.

This process has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Walking and running have been so great for my mental health in addition to the physical.

Definitely couldn't have done it without my amazing husband's support.

@cam it's so much fun 😊 I ran a 5k and got home and my daughter asked if I would take her skating, and it really sunk in how I wouldn't have been able to participate with her before. We used to go and I'd sit and watch her. She says it's more fun now. 🥰

One of the coolest things I've made with the new printer, a heat set insert press, but I have to give credit to my awesome husband who made the gorgeous walnut base. I asked for it to have a tray to hold the inserts and screws and bits. The rest was printed and assembled by me 😉

@bobmagicii very little. Heat set inserts are often done by hand, but this makes it easier to control the 90 degree angle, and keep hands away from hot bits. The actual pressure needed to press down is low. It's counter weighted to raise up after pressing.

That said it's very strong.

@bobmagicii the design is not mine I didn't mean to imply that, it was created by someone and shared on Adafruit. The original designer went through a few iterations, they shared a video about it.

I'm actually really nervous now about this run tomorrow, the farthest I've run so far is only 5K, and this is 5 miles... so like 8k. 😔

Got the panels and doors on my Voron 2.4, and mounted a spool holder on top. Next up is printing the filter!

@ramsey tbh after building this one I would say this is such a better project the Ender is useless 🤣 I have already started planning the next Voron.

@jeff @ramsey I was thinking probably a V0 but then I discovered Printers for Ants which has the Micron, which is the size of a V0 but with the flying gantry like a V2.4. So the Micron (or Micron+) is at the top of my list. Long term I'd like to do something with a tool changer so maybe a V2.4 350 with the tap changer system.

@ramsey I'm not a napper, if I get a bad night's sleep I tend to actually get a little hyperactive for most of the day, then just go to bed early. I finally learned that if I'm tossing and turning still at 4-5 am, I should just get up and start my day, and I usually feel much better than if I tried to go back to sleep.

Whoever at Datadog is responsible for the new Trace Queries feature, I absolutely cannot thank you enough.

I have been needing this feature for months, I tried a bunch of hacks to make it work, and I had given up and when I logged in this morning and discovered it I seriously cried from joy.

I am sure this message won't reach them and I'll use the feedback form to send a real message but I have to shout into the internet void right now because I'm so happy

This seems to be a common refrain. I’m beginning to interpret it as: we don’t think your PHP experience is translatable to other tech stacks.

40 lbs down from July, from ~43% body fat to 38. Still have a lot of work to do, but this is the best shape I've been in during my entire adult life. I don't have a great photo from before because after years of hating how I looked in photos I just stopped taking them.

I track everything I eat, eat a high protein plant based diet, get 10k steps a day, go walking running or cycling 5+ times a week, and do strength training 3x each week.

It hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it.

@syntaxseed thank you! Yes the biggest thing for me was getting over the idea that I had to be perfect from the start, and to get used to just keeping going. Also acknowledging that I had a "lifestyle debt" I had to pay down. Years of overeating and not moving enough have to be paid down, and every day is an opportunity to make a small dent in that. (Using the same strategy I used to get out of massive financial debt and start saving, and learn to follow a budget)

I'm watching Star Trek: Voyager for the first time - I realize this show is almost 30 years old so I can't really be upset about it, but I got two random spoilers for it today somehow.
