It should be illegal for appliances to beep, they should just yell out what they are.

I don't want my fridge to beep when I leave it open, just yell "fridge".

When my toaster is done, it could just yell "toast".

Thanks to my wander up One Tree Hill yesterday I learned that Canberra recently built a temple in the suburb of Taylor. It looks amazing from the hill, love that Canberra has something so iconic in the sea of grey/black houses.

Driving in the NT a few years ago I became convinced that any passing car that didn't do the steering wheel wave was probably a serial killer.
