It’s all projection. From protecting pedophiles to condoning and/or committing genocide.

There’s an unwritten rule that only Jacqui can wear leopard print. Tammy had been testing the boundaries and had to go.

Not defending the guy, but why would they?

I don’t know why anyone is downvoting you rather than discussing the issue.

Heads up that my knowledge about any and all of this is less-than-stellar.

As far as I know Russia isn’t a foreign enemy and Australia’s support of any nations right to self-determination and independence doesn’t automatically imply a state of war against an occupying or oppressing country or a designation as a ‘foreign enemy’. I don’t even know if the term foreign enemy has been or would be used in any such context but I’m not really into military stuff so who knows (maybe someone reading this perhaps).

I don’t think Australia declared war on Indonesia or designated it a foreign enemy when troops were sent to East Timor.

I might be wrong but this knob hasn’t done anything illegal by appearing on Russian TV and praising their elections. He’ll probably get a bit more scrutiny for being a naive tool.

Whose to say he isn’t a spook and this isn’t some wacky shenanigans to play Russia.

I think Collabora Onlineuses or is built on LibreOffice. It’s a subscription service but you can host it yourself for free (I think for personal use). I’ve not tried either. I’m pretty sure the Collabora team are big code contributors to LibreOffice. If I got anything wrong I hope someone will correct me.

Abraham Lincoln. Not sure how there’s a colour photo of a cat, an owl and Abraham Lincoln siting perched on branches of the same tree but it can’t be denied. It’s right there before our eyes.

I thought @TassieTosser was talking about state politics as in the Labor-Greens of 2010 to 2014.

There is an ama?

Australia is mostly harmless if you live in a major city where most people spend all their time. Very few people live anywhere near a crocodile. There are no bears, big cats or wolves.

I have no stats, but I feel like you’re more likely to be bitten or killed by someone’s dog.

Occasionally a shark will kill someone but that’s also rare considering how popular the beaches are.

As for spiders and snakes, well our cities have been mostly sterilised of other lifeforms except some birds and a possum or two.

There are a few places where you need to keep your distance from cassowaries or dingos.

A cassowary is a big flightless bird that lives in northeastern Australia. They look cool and lay cool coloured easter eggs. Some people occasionally get kicked by them which you don’t want to happen because of their big claws.

Half a point to me. I forgot about the most dangerous animal.

From the looks of it we have a couple of similar looking buildings like this in Sydney next door to Packer’s Pecker. I don’t know what everyone else calls them but to us they’re known as The Radiators. They are different dimensions though I think, a bit more squat and a bit wider. Could be wrong. Same radiator-ish kinda look.

Deep Impact. A bit more grounded than Armageddon.

My only real gripe with Deep Impact is the pizza eating observatory dude crash death at the start. Like, why would he be in such a rush to drive this info anywhere? Of all the implausible things in the film, I find this character’s behaviour the most implausible.
