@transponderings It's perfectly on brand for Musk and his total lack of anything resembling management skills.

On a related note, I'm not surprised the blocking feature is still there. Musk fired all the competent engineers months ago and no one worth their salt would want to work there now, so I suspect they have no idea how to remove the feature without breaking the site completely.

Was just at the most amazing talk I’ve attended for a long time* – totally worth the online fee for #Autscape2023 on its own :gi:

Nat Titman was talking about ‘The Autism–Dissociation Association’, and managed to cram so many novel ideas and relatable points into an hour and a quarter

They also gave a model example of genuinely informative and well-timed content notes/trigger warnings

*allowing for SDAM 😉

I'm writing a paper on deconstructing neurodiversity. I'm looking for archival copies of the Autism Network International newsletter published in either 1992 or 1993. Any help much appreciated !!!!!!!

@exme @JeremyMallin @actuallyautistic Congratulations and welcome to our neuro-family. I bet you're still trying to figure out what it all means.

One important thing is that autism isn't all bad; there are good things about it (whether it's "worth it" is another question and depends on the individual).

I can't think of any autistic person who is not autigender by that definition. Autism influences your whole way of being, gender included.
