So, this is an idea I've had for a bit, and maybe see how far I get. I watch a fair bit of OldSchol RuneScape content on YouTube, and for the next several days, I have nothing but time on my hands.

I'm curious on how hard as an entirely new player on F2P it would be to successfully earn enough to buy membership in game (about 7M gold). I've never really gotten into MMOs before, but I've got RuneLite setup, and well, guess I'm ready to dig in.

I've been struggling to find any motivation to make content or well, do much of anything. I did do one livestream while I've been out west although to some degree I am feeling like I have been phoning it in.

Same problem is following me with making content and videos in general. To some extent, its a combination of both burnout, and well, struggling to find meaning in doing anything which is a double whammy ...

@nixCraft Actually some programming languages do start at 1, like Pascal and Ada.

I'm actually now curious if there are any one indexed processors. I've seen some extremely weird shit out of early mainframes, so it won't surprise me if such a thing existed, or didn't treat 0 as a valid memory location.

So I've been toying w/ an idea for a few weeks on creating a boot disk to help get new users involved with vintage computing and drastically reduce the pain of setting up Windows on 90s/early 2000s computers.

The biggest question is it even possible to use FreeDOS as a base for this (since I can't redistribute Microsoft DOS), so that's what we're exploring ont he next stream at 11PM EST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEOZMqwM_gY

I've gotten flagged with a second content ID claim. Same copyrighted song, expect this time, its in a section of the stream with no music and keytyping.

This is also a charity stream, and like, am I just going to keep getting an email day after day on this?

you know, I don't know why I bothered dealing with TeamYouTube on Content ID, aside from the fact the response chat doesn't have an answer to "licensed content from another creator", but I think Streambeats would have to intervene.

sigh.

@ChartreuseK Honestly, I'm just going to start taking the L on this one because there's not a lot I can do.

Twitch is pretty much worse in every regard here, and their exclusivity clause basically means that once I get affilate or partner, I can't restream anymore.

Waking up and finding a Content ID strike for a piece of music that doesn't even sound like whats on air.

I've actually won content ID disputes before, but I've never gotten flagged on content that's been up for months at this point.

@kkarhan Honestly, I just realized this was a charity stream I did, so I'm actually not going to loose any money (the fundraiser status is still enabled), but it feels a bit shitty that a random media copy gets to profit off it.

@kkarhan Well I wrote a post up on Twitter, I'm not expecting much. I'm hesistant to dispute it because of getting a copyright strike, since I can't say its 100% original content since there's licensed content from streambeats, but there's no misidentification case.
