Installed it. Liking it. Indeed beautifully designed.
There’s a lot going on and much data to be seen. Nice! Not airways easy to quickly see what I am looking for, but that might be just me not being used to it. Has a bit to catch up to meet the features of Breezy Weather, but I don’t expect that from a new so and you have SO much potential here!
Am I missing the dew point or is that not implemented yet?
The animations might be a tad slow, though beautiful to look at.
Can’t say much more. Will use Overmorrow (fantastic name!) for sure to test it more and see where it goes.
I’m bored and want to practice my Rust skills. I am the creator of open-tv. If you have any idea for a linux desktop app, even if it seems quite complex, I will take it.
A backup and restore utility which allows me to export/restore system settings and installed apps. This would make a reinstalll much less time consuming and allow installs of the same configuration on other computers.
As always, please ensure you stop your Jellyfin server and take a full backup before upgrading!
Now, if only there was a simple, built-in way to backup/export and restore/import all settings and other data, so that all platforms could do this easily, without having to search the internet for which folders to back up…
FYI, this is the best we have atm (which is pretty terrible). Please correct me if there is a better way:
Sure. But what if Docker is not available on a machine? What if the import should happen on a Linux machine coming from Windows? What if I want to sync two installations on different OSs?
I know it’s all doable, but not easy, let alone foolproof. It’s so easy to install, but genuinely not easy to keep safe without tech knowledge.
If so, here the answer: It is usually used as a polite response when someone thanks you for doing something. It’s a way to acknowledge their gratitude.
I still hear it a lot. Together with so many alternatives, like “no problem”, " happy to help", “don’t mention it”, " glad to assist", “anytime”, “it was nothing”, “my pleasure”, " sure thing"… and I’m sure there are more.
What of Indie games that I download from the developer’s page or other stores?
Also, how is the update process of Mint these days for make versions? Is it a complete reinstall of the system? I might opt for a rolling distro for that purpose.
I read that a lot. Somehow I’m not into adding all my games into the Steam client, though I am not totally opposed if there’s no other option. That’s due to my inherent trust issues with gaming platforms.
I’d prefer to get a VPN to avoid the risk of my internet getting shut down, but I’m not aware of what the options for Linux are. I figured this would be a good place to ask.
