    So I’ve been thinking more about the latest NewJeans release (I’m still obsessed with the Cool With You MVs), and I am convinced that ETA is not only a continuation of the narrative theme of CWY but that NewJeans themselves are playing the same role - that of the Greek Chorus. 1/?? (not that many)

    CWY is all about Cupid and Psyche, with NewJeans the Greek Chorus throughout. ETA is about relationship drama (and murder?), which was a hallmark of Cupid's interactions with humans.

    At first glance, NewJeans in ETA look like concerned friends, but by the end of the MV it becomes clear there's something else going on. But if you look at them in the role of the Greek Chorus it makes sense. See this guide: https://thedramateacher.com/the-role-of-the-chorus-in-greek-theatre/

    My niece didn't want to have an 18th birthday party in September but requested for Hamilton tickets (the Manila production). My sister finally got tickets for October (because that was the only way she could get 3 seats next to each other). Rachelle Ann Go is playing Eliza Hamilton again, after originating the role on the West End in 2017.

    Well... I'm back! I think? I'm finding it hard to have a comfortable fandom experience these days. I've spent a lot of time wishing I could go back and re-experience fandom circa 2009, when it felt just soooo much easier, but maybe I'm just old now and can't handle change!
