If you wanted to explain to a 10 year old how a button or switch can change between two things, like AM or FM on a radio, but didn't want to use a radio because it may be outdated... what example might you use?

@jwcph We've got switches covered, but wanted a textual description of a switch / button that can choose between two outputs, two modes, etc.

And it should be something kids (10 and up) might recognized or be familiar with.

With any technology, we need to consider the harm it can do, and not just shove it into everything, and "move fast and break things" because sometimes what gets broken is the planet and the people.

@jwcph I get "break things" when used in software development or something where you're able to easily revert to a previous working version (at least for testing/development, not production) but I think some of it also was meant to say "break existing business models"...

I've installed WezTerm on three computers so far, and the config does what I want on 2 out of 3, so I'm sure I'll spend a fair amount of time trying to get that third one to work as desired.

I felt pretty good this morning so got the bike out for a ride and managed to get 5 miles in under 30 minutes, which has been a goal for a while! Finally got my average speed over 10mph. Whew!

@fistfulofdave Nice! My longest ride is still just 10 miles but I do hope to get further as the months progress. Weather was great, shorts & a t-shirt was perfect.
