Pours :

  • Feeling de qualité avec le design et la fabrication du produit. Mais des doutes sur la durabilité des matériaux dans le temps.

  • Setup et personnalisation rapide et ludique.

  • L'ergonomie, L'UI et les interactions sont top! Le eye-tracking et le clic avec le pincement de doigts marchent ultra bien. Pas besoin de la jouer ridicule comme dans Minority Report avec de grands mouvements de bras.

  • Expériences en immersion assez ouf! Bluffé par le 360 à Yosemite ou sur la Lune!

Contres :

  • La qualité de la vidéo de l'environnement "en transparence" est assez basse.

  • La lecture de film en relief/3D est à chier (mais comme toujours).

  • Fatigue occulaire qui arrive assez vite.

  • Tu as toujours l'air d'un idiot vu de l'extérieur (ça change pas par rapport à la VR normale).

En bref : c'est une super expérience à tester pour le côté wow*, mais je vois toujours pas d'utilité pour le fameux "spatial computing"...

*à 3500 balles ça fait cher les quelques minutes de wow 😒

In the context of Alexey Navalny's recent suspicious death in a Russian prison, I've seen left-leaning people point out that he was racist and nationalist. I'm not entirely sure of the goal of this reminder, but it is entirely possible to criticize the Russian state for likely assassinating Navalny while in its custody without espousing any and all of his opinions.

Yep, because 99,99% of the people are depicting him as a saint, without giving context about where he's coming from...
Like "he advocated against the invasion of Ukraine", and forgetting that he was saying that because, for him, fighting immigration was a more pressing issue than Ukraine (even if he was happy with the invasion of Crimea)
