This discussion indicates Williams was a pianist in the West Side Story recording. Also in this discussion there's a link to some videos of the recording sessions and I think I caught a glimpse of him.

I just got a QSL card from an amateur operator in California (6 call) who signed the card as the "Count [name] of the Principality of Sealand." And it had a picture of a large, Castle-like structure. Quite interesting.

going through my subscriptions on the eternal september server, trying to gauge which groups likely have content, and which content is likely not completely inane.

at one point someone wrote a program that allowed the creation of new groups, which litters the whole list with stupid jokes from the 90s. there's a group alt.hobbies beekeeping, and a group alt.hobbies.serial-murder.

one would assume you could prune these after decades of non-use.

If someone would start selling those nifty suffragette pantaloons you can bicycle in I bet they could sell a bunch.

But every skirt in stores looks like a horrible tube that will rutch up on your tush as you walk like an handsy subway creeper; you try to walk in little tiny steps. Sitting without flashing? Some kind of mysterious party trick.

Then there's a whole article in the fashion section hand wringing if skirts that aren't tight are "too conservative"

Immunity is something else: This means essentially that he was forced to testify.

It works like this: If the DOJ gives use immunity, nothing he says can be used against him, so it's no longer possible to invoke the 5th Amendment.

(It's late so I'm not sure I explained it well.)

    Surely he knows to what he'd be called to testify. Prosectutors don't call you as a witness unless they know what you'd say right?
